The SMC EZ Switch 10/100 family includes the SMCFS802 and SMCFS802. The SMCFS502 is a 5-port unmanaged 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet switch with a plastic classis that delivers high-speed copper to the desktop. Environmentally friendly, it consumes up to 77% less power than non-Green Ethernet switches, without reducing network performance. QoS priority and Auto-MDI/MDIX on all ports makes this desktop switch ideal for home and small office network environments.
Features:
IEEE 802.3az: When two 802.3az-compliant switches are connected, up to 77% of power consumption can be saved.
Port-Based QoS: The switch supports port-based Quality of Service. Ports 1-3 on the SMCFS802 have higher priority.
The Smallest Pocket-Size Switch: The SMCFS502 is extremely compact and light. The SMCFS802 is smaller than a credit card and weights only 43g.
Micro and Mini USB support: The SMCFS802 can be powered through its Mini or Micro USB. The Micro USB interface is a new USB standard for 2012.
